Planning Assumptions
Next, take a look once again at your vision of your child’s future (Our Hopes for the Future). Guided by this vision, make some assumptions about his living circumstances: Would he be living with his siblings and family members, living on his own, or would he be in an adult disability home? Consider as well if he would be earning a salary from his employment or have other sources of income.
Activity: Planning Assumptions
Consolidate your thoughts on your child’s future living circumstances. Don’t worry, these assumptions can change. Just make your best guess, given the planning that you have done thus far, as well as any other information that you have currently.
