Keeping a Health Record

There are many reasons for keeping a written health record of your child:

  • You have a record of the medications he has been prescribed.
  • You keep track of his allergies (if any).
  • You can recall when symptoms for an illness began, got worse or better, and ended.
  • You will remember when it is time for a screening or a test.
  • You can better manage your child’s chronic illnesses by tracking symptoms and causes.
